Psy-Tap draws it's influence from many different existing treatment methodologies such as Thought Field Therapy, EMDR, Havening, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Psychosensory SATT, Advanced Meridian Intervention Techniques all which blend seamlessly with other skillsets from hypnosis and psychotherapy.
Throughout life we experience positive events which fill us with joy and negative events, which, if not handled correctly, have the potential to get stuck as unwanted behaviours and beliefs. Psy-Tap focuses on the feelings of those negative events and changes them. Traditional analytical therapy will go exploring your past and take you to the trauma to find the cause and get you to talk about it in order to positively relearn it. Psy-Tap focuses on the feeling, not the memory so there's no need to revisit old trauma. Work can be achieved in rapid time as well so there's no need to bring you back weekly for months on end like CBT, psychotherapy or counselling.
